Corey Harrison, popularly referred to as “Big Hoss,” is a $4 million-rich American television personality and entrepreneur. His role in the History Channel series “Pawn Stars,” which starred three generations of the Harrison family and their Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, helped him become well-known. After its summer 2009 premiere, the show quickly gained popularity and was one of the most watched shows on the network and all of cable television. On April 27, 1983, in Las Vegas, Nevada, Corey Harrison—originally known as Richard Corey Harrison—was born. In 1984, Rick and Kim, his parents, divorced. Corey has a half-brother named Jake and a sibling named Adam. Corey’s grandfather, Richard “Old Man” Harrison, and his father opened the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in 1989. At the young age of nine, Corey began working at the pawn store and eventually rose to the position of co-owner.

Harrison is in charge of managing a staff of thirty workers and supervising the daily operations of Gold & Silver Pawn Shop. He routinely makes large purchases, making him the store’s most active buyer. Episodes of “Pawn Stars” have frequently highlighted Corey’s relationship with his father and grandfather (until Richard’s death in 2018), especially in relation to his managerial responsibilities, inventory expertise, and expensive purchases like a boat and a $38,000 hot air balloon. Harrison stated in a season seven episode that he would be leaving the company if he didn’t get a 10% partnership. He eventually consented to stay, despite the fact that he was first only granted a 5% partnership. Personal Life

Corey was involved in a motorcycle accident on April 26, 2014, which resulted in injuries to his foot, back, and fractured arm. The event happened just a few hours before his birthday celebration was set to begin. Corey married Charlene, his first wife, in 2009 after they had met in high school. However, in 2015, their marriage ended in divorce. After that, in July 2017, Corey wed Karina “Kiki” Harrison; however, their marriage lasted for only 11 months, as Corey filed for divorce. In September of that year, their divorce became official. Corey lost a substantial amount of weight—from 365 pounds to 249 pounds—after undergoing gastric bypass surgery in 2010.

Property Market

Harrison paid $1 million for a 7,069-square-foot home in Las Vegas in 2013. In 2016, he listed this home with a $2.39 million asking price. The mansion has six bathrooms, seven bedrooms, and a basement with a home cinema, bar, and game area. Situated on more than an acre of ground, the home also has two three-car garages, a fire pit, and a swimming pool with a waterfall and water slide. Harrison tried to rent it out for about $6,000 a month and made multiple price reductions before selling it for $2 million in May 2022.
