WhatsApp Introduces a New Feature: Never Miss an Important Message Again!

WhatsApp continues to bring new features for its users. Now, the company has introduced a special feature for iPhone users called the Notification Reminder. With this feature, you can set reminders for any important message so that you never miss it.

Whether it’s a personal chat or a group chat, you can now add reminders to every message. Currently, this feature is available to select users on the iOS app version 25.25.74. It is expected to roll out to all iPhone users in the coming weeks.

How Does the WhatsApp Reminder Feature Work?

The new reminder feature allows you to schedule a message to “view later”. iPhone users have several options:

  • 2-hour reminder
  • 8-hour reminder
  • 1-day reminder
  • Or choose a custom date and time

The main benefit is that whether it’s a meeting deadline, an important office message, or crucial information from a friend, WhatsApp will remind you on time.

What Happens After Setting a Reminder?

  • When you set a reminder on a message, a bell icon () will appear on it.
  • Once the scheduled time is reached, WhatsApp will send you a notification.
  • The notification will show the full message, chat, and media preview.
  • After the reminder ends, the bell icon will disappear automatically.

This way, no important message will ever escape your notice.

Why Is This Feature Special?

Today, we receive hundreds of messages daily, and sometimes important ones get overlooked. This new WhatsApp feature is especially helpful for:

  • People receiving important work or business messages
  • Those who need to remember meetings, deadlines, or appointments
  • Anyone who doesn’t want to forget personal tasks or important information

When Will It Be Available for All Users?

Currently, WhatsApp has rolled out this feature only to selected iPhone users. It is expected to reach all iOS users in the next few weeks. There is no official information yet about its availability for Android users.
